Ram Lock

Plant and Trailer Security Ltd carries the largest selection of ram lock sizes for the most popular machines, all of which are made in house by our sister company TLD International Ltd. They are a highly effective device which can easily be fitted in less than one minute to the steering ram of virtually any hydraulically steered machine, including telehandlers, tractors, dumpers, rollers, loaders etc. as well as excavator dozer blade ram. The ram lock will be fitted over a fully extended cylinder with steering lock fully on, held in placed by a steel retaining pin and then secured using an 80mm armoured padlock, which is protected due to the design of the ram lock making it virtually impervious to attack. Once locked the machine can only be driven on full lock making it impossible to drive away. Ram locks come as standard powder coated which prevents damage to the cylinder rod as well as acting as a deterrent. Standard Ram locks are made from 4mm Tensile steel.

Can be ordered Keyed to differ as standard or Keyed alike.
